Early September and our final production count is -27- clutches and 181 eggs. Still a couple more clutches to hatch. Overall we witnessed -34- pairings with a total count of -135- locks, so happy with the turnout. Lots of really cool pairings this season, mixture of many previous and added few new ones as well! It was a very productive & rewarding season … lots of Freeway combo’s, our first Super Asphalt, several Desert Ghosts, pair of Yellowbelly Dreamsicles, Batman Clown, couple more Spotnose geneX Clowns, lots of Axanthics, another cool ACID, some awesome Super Blackhead morphs & lots of eye-candy animals! Great season, very pleased!

Clutch # 1 – Ivory X Asphalt Enchi Pastel
Ivory dropped ten healthy eggs on 3/4, all but one hatched by 5/4. Produced four pretty Freeway combo’s and a couple of probable Yellow Brick Roads. Very nice clutch to start the new ’22 season!!
Clutch #2 – Butter Daddy #2 X Butter Leopard het Clown
Butter Daddy #2 dropped nine healthy eggs on 4/7, all hatched by 6/4. Produced pair of BELs and one Butter Daddy along with an assortment of Butters & Leopards.
Clutch #3 – Mardi Gras X Blackhead Asphalt Pastel
Virgin Mardi Gras dropped five large healthy eggs on 4/13, scheduled to hatch 6/14. Four of the five eggs hatched 6/9. Produced my first super asphalt enchi female, pics below. Also a nice Blackhead Pastel Asphalt/Yellowbelly.
Clutch #4 – Yellowbelly #2 Het Desert Ghost X Orange Dream Desert Ghost
Yellowbelly #2 het Desert Ghost dropped eight healthy eggs on 4/13, scheduled to hatch 6/14. All eight animals emerged by 6/13. Produced four Desert Ghosts, one absolute stunner that appears to be a high-intensity Orange Dream with Yellowbelly. Update – heartbreaker, I lost that dynamite OD DG premie after day3 … had someone text me they thought it was Cryptic which I tend to agree. We all experience plenty of ups/downs in this business, but at least in this case I proved some interesting genetics in this pairing. Still I wish she would have made it … albeit her size, she appeared quite healthy & active. Major bummer …
Clutch #5 – Blackhead Yellowbelly X Blackhead Asphalt Pastel
Blackhead Yellowbelly dropped six healthy eggs on 4/14, scheduled to hatch 6/15. Five of six hatched by 6/11, all Blackhead combo’s including a Blackhead Pastel Freeway which finally conclusively proves out the male having Asphalt. Also produced two killer Super Blackhead’s one with red-gene that is one of the best BH combo’s I’ve ever produced! Very cool clutch.
Clutch #6 – Super Pastel Yellowbelly X Asphalt Enchi Pastel
Super Pastel Yellowbelly dropped seven healthy eggs on 4/13, scheduled to hatch 6/14. All animals hatched by 6/12, nice colorful clutch, only one Freeway though
Clutch #7 – Super Fire Pewter X Gray Matter
Super Fire Pewter dropped eight healthy eggs on 4/23, set to hatch 6/21. Disappointing clutch, got bit by the Champagne genetic “kink” issue. Six of eight animals were badly kinked, only two survived. Both fire, Champagne Cinny and Cinny both duckbills … uggghh.
Clutch #8 – Calico X Blackhead QUAD
Veteran Calico dropped four healthy eggs on 4/28, all hatched by 6/25. No Blackheads in this group but couple nice Calico variations.
Clutch #9 – Butter Daddy #1 X Butter Leopard het Clown
Butter Daddy #1 dropped eight healthy eggs on 5/4, everyone hatched by 7/1. If you love BELs (like me), this clutch hit it out of the park, adding six more super butter BELs, four females, two males. Pls another Butter Daddy and nice Leopard.
Clutch #10 – Yellowbelly #1 Het Desert Ghost X Orange Dream Desert Ghost
Yellowbelly#1 het Desert Ghost dropped seven healthy eggs on 5/10, scheduled to hatch 7/11. All seven emerged by 7/6. Produced four Desert Ghost combo’s, see 2nd pic below. Believe two maybe OD but will wait to see after 1st shed … two girls & two boys.
Clutch #11 – Blade Fire Jungle Woma Leopard het Clown X Butter Leopard het Clown
Blade Jungle Woma Leopard Fire het Clown dropped six healthy eggs on 5/13, scheduled to hatch 7/14. All emerged by 7/12, striking clutch, still early stage of ID’ng animals.
Clutch #12 – Super Pastel het Clown X Asphalt Enchi Pastel & Blackhead Asphalt Pastel
Super Pastel YB het clown dropped eight healthy eggs on 5/13, scheduled to hatch 7/14. Everyone emerged 7/12, lots of eye candy in this clutch … three possible Yellow Brick Roads, one Pastel Freeway and a couple Super Pastel combo’s.
Clutch #13 – Butter Daddy Spinner X Butter Leopard het Clown
Butter Daddy Spinner dropped six healthy eggs on 05/14, scheduled to hatch 07/15. All emerged by 7/11.
Clutch #14 – Dreamsicle X Enchi Yellowbelly double het Dreamsicle
Dreamsicle dropped six healthy eggs on 5/15, scheduled to hatch 7/14. Entire clutch emerged, produced two beautiful Yellowbelly Dreamsicles. Also an Enchi Lavendar Albino, Yellowbelly Lavendar Albino & Enchi Pied … all three het for Dreamsicle.
Clutch #15 – ’16 Lavendar Albino het Dreamsicle X Black Pastel Lavendar Albino het Pied
’16 Lavendar Albino het Dreamsicle dropped five healthy eggs on 5/16, scheduled to hatch 7/15. Everyone emerged healthy by 7/18, amazingly she produced five Lavendar Albinos, three with Black Pastel. But unfortunately once again no Dreamsicles so beginning to doubt this girl was het Pied afterall.
Clutch #16 – Mojave Yellowbelly het Ghost X Blackhead Asphalt Pastel
Mojave Yellowbelly dropped three eggs & four slugs on 5/19. Only one of the three eggs candled with veins. Scheduled to hatch 7/20. Update lost all three to mold, our challenges with this female continue.
Clutch #17 – Pinstripe Yellowbelly het Desert Ghost X Orange Dream Desert Ghost
Pinstripe Yellowbelly het Desert Ghost dropped eight healthy eggs on 5/20, due to hatch 7/21. All hatched by 7/16, initial pre-shed appears we got four Desert Ghosts, possibly three Pin’s one OD for certain and another TBD. Also a DG YB. Three of the four are females!
Clutch #18 – Spotnose geneX het Clown X Butter Leopard het Clown
Spotnose het Clown dropped eight healthy eggs on 5/23, scheduled to hatch 7/24. Everyone emerged by 7/19, all healthy. Scored a gorgeous looking Batman Clown male. Otherwise fairly uneventual clutch unlike last year where she produced 5 clowns.
Clutch #19 – Axanthic Killerbee X Axanthic Vanilla Lesser
Axanthic Killerbee dropped eight healthy eggs on 5/25, scheduled to hatch 7/26. All animals hatched early, were out by 7/23. Great looking clutch of some pretty Axanthics. Really like the Vanilla ZebraBee’s. Will update pics post first shed.
Clutch #20 – Butterpin X Coral Glow Enchi Spider
Butterpin dropped ten healthy eggs on 6/02, scheduled to hatch 8/03. All ten successfully hatched by 7/28. Pic below, missing a couple will do a retake.
Big disappointment, Calico-Pastel dropped only one healthy egg, eight other slugs … ugghh, this was my only ACID pairing this season. Animal from lone egg finally emerged 7/30, at least we made one ACID this season, very striking female,
Clutch #22 – Butter Spotnose geneX Clown X Butter Leopard het Clown
Virgin Butter Spotnose geneX Clown dropped five healthy eggs on 6/10, scheduled to hatch 8/9. All emerged by 8/8, produced couple more Spotnose geneX Clowns, including one pretty Butter. Both males.
Possible first, pairing could produce Super Blackhead Ghosts … have yet to see any in market? Blackhead Ghost Mojave YB dropped six healthy eggs on 6/25, scheduled to hatch 8/23. Everyone emerged by 8/20, couple interesting animals. Possibly Super Blackhead Ghost, cannot tell for certain. Also interesting BEL with dark head, really cool!
Clutch #24 – Silver Bullet X Gray Matter
Here’s my wildcard for the season, Gray Matter male was fighting health issues & got a late start but locked once with my Silver Bullet girl. She came through and dropped four healthy eggs on 7/1, scheduled to hatch 8/30. Everyone emerged by 8/24, all healthy & unlike Super Fire Pewter clutch, no kinks or duckbills! Striking clutch, results are amazing. Clearly produced an awesome silver bullet, but the three others are a mystery. The all white would appear to be a Gray Matter but no pattern whatsoever. The bottom right looks champagne which was not an expected outcome. And then the real clincher is the beauty on the left, in the 2nd pic it almost looks Panda Pied. So beats me, always a challenge to ID these unique pairings, and its possible I unlocked something new … notably the Panda Pied look-a-like. 🙂

Killerbee het dropped an entire bad clutch, never had a chance.
Clutch #26 – Enchi Vanilla het Axanthic X Axanthic Vanilla Lesser
Virgin Enchi Vanilla het Axanthic in OVY on 5/24, sets egg drop trajectory at 7/4. This one’s fun adding Enchi and possibly Super Vanilla into my Axanthic line . She dropped six nice healthy eggs on 7/7, scheduled to hatch 9/5. Everyone hatched by 9/1, definately proved her out as het Axanthic. Some cool Enchi Lessers.
Clutch #27 – Blue-eyed Leucistic Ghost X Blackhead Yellowbelly het Ghost
BEL ghost in OVY on 5/24, sets egg drop trajectory at around 7/4. As expected she dropped on 7/9, eight healthy eggs, scheduled to hatch 9/7. Everyone emerged by 9/2, nailed it again .. five Ghost’s, three Blackhead. Love making this combo, so many variations.
Clutch #28 – Firebee X Blackhead QUAD [BH-Calico-Pastel-YB]
Firebee rebounded from last season where entire clutch was lost to mold … this year, dropped four eggs that hatched on 9/23. Love this combo always creates some interesting morphs. Same result, produced pair of interesting Blackhead combo’s and a couple of Fire/Spider combos. Very nice … great finish to a fun season!
